Lommel SK

KMSK Deinze
-1

The second half started with a huge chance for Jason van Duiven. The Dutch striker broke free of his direct opponent and got 1-on-1 with the Deinze goalkeeper. However, Van Duiven's shot was not clean enough, allowing Miras to save. In the 60th minute, Deinze came in front of Matthias Pieklak's goal for the first time in the second half. After a cross, substitute Lennart Mertens was able to head towards goal. The ball was touched by Jesper Tolinsson's hand, resulting in a penalty. Erdon Daci got behind the ball and got it behind Pieklak: 1-1.
Steve Bould took the opportunity to make his first substitution. Alvaro Santos was relieved by Filip Stevanovic. Yet the match picture suddenly seemed to tilt. The visitors had a great chance for their second goal after just over an hour of play, but Dries Wouters managed to block the ball with an ultimate effort. After several teases from the visitors, it was almost 2-1 with 15 minutes to play. Mo Salah had an excellent opportunity to take the enemy goal under fire for once, but his shot went past the wrong side of the post. Despite the threat from the visitors, the decisive goal failed to materialise. No victory, but LSK remains unbeaten once again. The unbeaten run has now lasted nine games.
