Update on Expiring Contracts at Lommel SKMen22 junWith preparations for the new Jupiler Pro League season underway, Lommel SK would like to provide an update on the players whose contracts are expiring or whose loan spells are coming to an end. Lommel SK will part ways with four players this summer. Robin van Duiven will not return to Lommel and is set to join Spanish side Real Valladolid. Dominion Ohaka, who spent the past one and a half seasons on loan from Nigerian club Water FC, will also leave North Limburg. Meanwhile, fellow loanee Lautaro López will return to Montevideo City Torque.
In addition, Filip Stevanovic’s contract is set to expire and will not be renewed. The Serbian winger spent the last two seasons at Lommel SK. The contracts of Jesper Tolinsson, Rubin Seigers and Joey Pelupessy are also coming to an end. Discussions regarding a potential continuation of their stay at the club are currently ongoing.
Sporting Director Jeffrey van As thanked the departing players for their contribution to the club’s successful campaign: "On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to thank Robin, Dominion, Filip and Lautaro for their commitment and professionalism. Each of them played an important role in our promotion to the Jupiler Pro League. That achievement will always hold a special place in the history of Lommel SK. We wish them every success in the next chapter of their careers. At the same time, we are continuing positive discussions with Jesper, Rubin and Joey. As soon as there is a final outcome, we will communicate it accordingly."
Lommel SK would like to thank all these players for their dedication in Groen-Wit and wishes them the very best for the future.
