Anyone visiting the construction site today will immediately notice the rapid progress. The first interior walls have been installed, and the different spaces are beginning to take shape. What once existed only on paper is now becoming tangible. You can sense that this is becoming a place where our players and staff will soon come together every day – a true home base for Lommel SK.
The CFA is set to become a top-level training facility, built with attention to detail, sustainability, and functionality. Think of modern changing rooms, a large fitness area, meeting spaces, a professional kitchen, and much more. Everything is being designed to optimally support our players and staff – both on and off the pitch.
The complex is not only intended to strengthen our sporting operations, but also to serve as an environment where young talents can develop in an inspiring and professional setting. The building is expected to be fully operational by November, with the first team moving in after the winter break of the upcoming season.
In the coming months, the focus will be on completing the interior and furnishing all areas. Outside, work continues at full speed on the construction of the training pitches and the surrounding infrastructure.
