Lommel SK and Lommel in the Community, the charitable arm of Lommel SK, launches 'Healthy Goals', a new fundraising and programme initiative to empower healthier lives for Lommel's youth through football.
The 'Healthy Goals' initiative will raise needed funds for community football pitches, as well as youth-led programs uplifting physical and mental health of local youth through the power of football. All proceeds raised through our Healthy Goals initiative from now through September 2023 will be allocated to Lommel in the Community and be match funded*.

Lommel SK is the sixth club within the City Football Group (CFG) network to launch its 'Healthy Goals' initiative. Throughout 2023, several other clubs in the CFG network will launch similar initiatives to help spread the 'Healthy Goals' impact worldwide.
*City Football Group Limited (CFG) will match donations to the Healthy Goals Programme made between February and September 2023 (inclusive), to a limit of £125k for any single Club or a maximum of £500k matched globally across all CFG Clubs participating in this round of funding. What is Healthy Goals?
Healthy Goals is an initiative aimed at empowering healthier lives through football in Lommel and other City Football Group Club cities across the world. The initiative offers funding and training to support youth led football programmes and new community football pitches benefitting local young people and communities.
Where will the funds raised go?
All funds raised go to Lommel in the Community (vzw LU), BE 0460.212.144 registered at address Speelpleinstraat 20, 3920 Lommel, to fund the combination of a newly created community football pitch in Lommel with a free football project uplifting the health of local young people on the pitch. How will funds be raised?
City Football Group will match cash donations to the above program (called 'Healthy Goals') on a 1:1 basis, up to and including all donations made to Lommel until September 30, 2023 [i.e. a donation of €1 would be doubled by City by €1 *]. This is called 'match funding'. The campaign limits below apply to City Football Group's total donation.
How much will City Football Group contribute?
Overall, City Football Group will contribute a maximum of £125,000 (GBP) to City in the Community through this campaign or £500,000 (GBP) in total for all City Football Group affiliated charities participating in the campaign (whichever comes first).
How can I donate?
Money raised through participation in our LSK fundraising event will be allocated to this initiative. You can donate by buying auction items linked to the event or via the donate button on the LSK website. Additional opportunities to donate will be made available over the coming months, publicised on LSK channels.
When does City Football Group make its contribution?
City Football Group will make its donation in two instalments – the first being paid by the end of August 2023 and the 2nd by the end of November 2023.
How will my data be used?
For any donations made via the Lommel page on SteunActie.be which can be visited here, JustGiving will act as the data controller in relation to your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local legislation. Your personal data will not be passed by SteunActie to CFG. Does Lommel in the Community receive any support beyond funding?
No, this is the first Lommel SK's charity initiative working towards uplifting the health of local young people on the pitch, in future City Football Group aims to engage Lommel SK's charity in donations, staff time, volunteering, shared office services, player engagement, training for young leaders, connectivity with a global network of youth led community football projects supported through CFG's global foundation programme, and year-round advocacy on Club channels.
Will all of the money donated go directly to Lommel in the Community?
All donations made via SteunActie are subject to fees, more information on SteunActie's applicable fees can be found here where SteunActie's Terms of Service can be found.
Will I be able to get tax relief on my donation?
This will depend, amongst other things, on your personal circumstances, tax status, choice of currency and country of tax residence. You should seek local independent tax advice if you wish to consider applying for this.
